RIVE DROITE: Construction of two buildings of 77 dwellings and a ground floor of medical activities

CSC Costruzioni (Webuild Group) has been awarded, as a Total Undertaking, the turnkey construction of the project called "Rive Droite" in Orbe, Canton Vaud, to intensify and confirm the Company's development in French-speaking Switzerland. The project consists of two buildings of 4 levels above ground, consisting of 80 housing units for elderly people intended for rent, about 2000 m2 of areas for laboratories and medical activities on the ground floors, and two basement levels with parking lots and Technical rooms. The cross-section of the two buildings follows the morphology of the land sloping down to the river; large, defined and detailed green spaces are planned with outdoor living facilities and walkways suspended toward the water. The buildings have ventilated facades clad with presso-folded and micro-perforated metal panels to vary with light, while the ground floor is in exposed concrete. Finally, the project must meet and comply with all the requirements of the One Planet Living Label (OPL). The One Planet Living method was created at the initiative of WWF International and the British Bioregional organization, and CSC Costruzioni will have to meet its criteria in both the design and construction phases.
