SH2 Data Center in Gland

The work includes 18MW of IT capacity to complete Stack Infrastructure's data center network in Switzerland, SH1, SH3 and SH4.
Key features:

• Dual power supply from the grid
• Concurrently maintained mechanical systems
• PUE of 1.3 to 1.8
• Cooling of data rooms by chilled water-fed CRACs.

Performance:

• Electrical system modeling using failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA)
• Statistical analysis of the single point of failure (SPOF) and RAMS
• Modeling of annualized PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) to predict energy and carbon use
• Water use effectiveness (WUE) calculation to predict water use
• CFD modeling for airflow within data rooms
• Arc Flash study
• Conflict-free 3D models through collaborative interdisciplinary coordination
