Work description

Single-track railway viaduct that, together with the embankment south of the SC, ensures the connection of the Ceneri Base Tunnel to the existing Bellinzona-Locarno line.

The viaduct has a length of 443 m and is at a height of about 5-7 m above ground level for an overall minimum span of 3 m above ground level. It has a minimum radius of curvature of 850 m, longitudinal gradient of 12.6 percent and track overhang of 122 mm.
