An Intervention Tool
The Safety Intervention Tool is an intervention tool developed to provide a simple, structured guideline for the purpose of facilitating interaction between two people, or between a person and a group, in situations that require safety intervention or feedback.
When used properly, the s.a.f.e.r. model will play an important role in realizing our Vision of Safety and achieving the goal of "zero accidents" in the workplace.
Through five simple steps achieve excellent safety performance. All staff, regardless of position, will be provided with an easy-to-follow format to both intervene on unsafe actions and reinforce safe behavior.
