Webuild and CSC Costruzioni complete Parc du Simplon in Renens (Lausanne), Switzerland

Webuild and its Swiss subsidiary, csc constructions sa, have delivered Parc du Simplon, an urban renewal project in Renens (Lausanne), Switzerland, for CFF Immobilier, the real estate unit of the Swiss rail operator-CFF. This residential and commercial area, built on disused railway land near Renens station, is the latest example of the Group's commitment to urban renewal and circular economy for sustainable community development.

Webuild and CSC Costruzioni completed the project on time, in just three years, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Of the 180 suppliers and service providers involved in the neighborhood development, more than 70 percent were local, with more than 1,000 workers engaged during the project.
