New 302.7 million contract for CSC Construzioni for new railway industrial plant

New project in Switzerland for CSC Costruzioni (Webuild Group)!

CSC Costruzioni has been awarded a contract worth a total of more than €302 million for the New Railway Industrial Facility (NSIF) in Ticino, with a 67 percent share of about €202 million.

The work, commissioned by SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) to the Officine Ticinesi OFT Consortium led by CSC Costruzioni, will carry out preparatory works, such as site installation and excavation, and later the construction of the main building, adjoining technical buildings and works for the outdoor spaces.

The work, scheduled to begin in early July 2024, will be completed at the end of 2027, when the New Railway Industrial Plant will go into operation.

CSC also recently completed the Parc du Simplon, a green building and urban redevelopment project that resulted in a new neighborhood, 5 kilometers from the center of Lausanne, with residential and commercial buildings.
