A sustainable railway infrastructure is taking shape in Ticino

In the framework of the new railway industrial facility project in Ticino, CSC Costruzioni is making significant progress on site activities.

Over the past weeks, several key milestones have been achieved: the installation of the first truss beams at height, the waterproofing of the roof of the first module of building B5, and the installation of the initial façade elements.

At the same time, structural works for the northern technical cabin are ongoing, while the civil engineering works for the underground levels of building B5 have now been completed.

The new facility, dedicated to the maintenance of electric trains and locomotives, will be highly digitalized and operate exclusively on renewable energy.

A further step toward the realization of a strategic infrastructure serving the mobility of the future.
