Opening of the Verzasca Dam Exhibition

On May 1st, at the Museo Val Verzasca, the exhibition dedicated to the historic Verzasca Dam was inaugurated. The dam was built by CSC Costruzioni in the 1960s.

For over sixty years, this infrastructure has been part of the landscape and everyday life of the Verzasca Valley, contributing concretely to the development of the region and to improving the living conditions of its inhabitants.

The exhibition—sponsored by CSC Costruzioni and the result of years of research—offers an interactive journey through the history of the dam, featuring historical archival footage as well as testimonies from local residents, workers, and key figures involved in its construction. A collective narrative that highlights the human, social, and technical value of a project that has deeply shaped the valley.
