New Visletto Bridge in Cevio: Construction Progressing as Planned, Opening Expected in November 2026

04/08/2026

Construction of the new Visletto Bridge in Cevio, in the Upper Maggia Valley, is progressing according to schedule. The project is one of the key infrastructure initiatives supporting the restoration of road access and connectivity in the area affected by the 2024 floods.

Stretching 146 metres, the new bridge is being built using Corten steel and reinforced concrete. The project is being delivered on a design-and-build basis by the VISLÈ Consortium, of which CSC Costruzioni is a member.

The progress of the works marks an important milestone in the reconstruction of the Upper Maggia Valley, gradually restoring essential infrastructure and connections for local communities and businesses.

The project forms part of the broader effort to restore the road network damaged by the 2024 floods, with the aim of strengthening the area's infrastructure resilience and ensuring safe and reliable connectivity for the future.

For CSC Costruzioni, the project is also a significant undertaking from both a technical and organisational perspective, drawing on specialised expertise in the delivery of complex and resilient infrastructure.

The new Visletto Bridge is expected to open in November 2026, restoring a key link for the Upper Maggia Valley and contributing to the area's ongoing recovery and reconstruction.
