Tenero Swimming Pools: reinforced concrete works of the new aquatic center

In Ticino, on the Tenero Swimming Pools project, carried out 100% by CSC Costruzioni (Webuild Group) on behalf of the FOCL and the FOSPO, the teams are continuing with the reinforced-concrete works of the new aquatic center.
The project includes the construction of a 50-meter indoor pool, fully adaptable to different disciplines, as well as the replacement of the existing outdoor facilities. Once completed, the complex will achieve Minergie certification, a guarantee of comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
The construction involves significant figures: approximately 15,000 m³ of reinforced concrete, a pool surface area of about 15,000 m², and over 1,800 tonnes of reinforcement steel.
The next milestones are already planned:
- the first structural phase was completed at the end of October 2025, while the finishing works of the first phase will begin in July 2027.
- the second structural phase will start in September 2027 and will be completed on April 30, 2028.
- the entire project will be completed in 2029.
