17/03/2026
In Ticino, the Tenero Swimming Pools project, delivered 100% by CSC Costruzioni on behalf of OFCL and OFSPO, is progressing on schedule with the structural works of the new aquatic center.
The project includes the construction of a 50-meter indoor pool, fully adaptable to different sporting disciplines, as well as the upgrade of the existing outdoor facilities. Once completed, the complex will achieve #Minergie certification, ensuring high standards of energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability.
The site reflects significant production figures: 2,000 m³ of lean concrete and 10,000 m³ of structural concrete, 1,350 tons of B500 reinforcing steel, 5,000 m² of slab formwork and 8,000 m² of wall formwork, 10,500 m² of Sika waterproofing membrane for the pool, and 1,500 m² of sand-lime masonry.
Overall, the works account for 40,000 hours performed by CSC’s direct workforce and an additional 10,000 hours by subcontractors, highlighting strong coordination and efficient site management.
In terms of milestones, the first structural phase was completed at the end of October 2025. Finishing works for Phase 1 will begin in July 2027, while Phase 2 structural works are scheduled from September 2027 to April 30, 2028. The full project completion is expected in 2029.
A development that combines construction expertise, planning, and long-term vision in service of sport and the local community.
